I would like to say a huge thank you to Kelly Smith and all of her team at Blackheath Funeral Services for everything you did to ensure my mum had the best send off she deserved. This was my first funeral i'd ever had to organise, I was so overwhelmed with it all. From that first meeting with Kelly we knew my mum was in good hands. And so were we. Kelly went above and beyond for us from the very start. Her warmth, care, comfort and professionalism was amazing, just what my family and I needed. We truly cannot thank her enough. And Toni, she was absolutely amazing on the day. My head was all over the place and she made sure everything run so smoothly. I couldn't have asked for anyone better to lead my mum's funeral. Sacha was mum's celebrant, she too was incredible. She listened and captured my mum's life and portrayed her life so perfectly. All three of you made such a sad and emotional day one of the best, knowing our mum was celebrated in the only way she deserved and would have loved you all.

We cannot thank the funeral directors enough for everything they did for our beautiful Mum, Lesley, and for our family during such an incredibly difficult time.
From the very beginning, they treated Mum and all of us with such kindness, compassion, dignity and respect. Every little detail was handled with so much care, making a heartbreaking time just that little bit easier for us.
A very special thank you to Kelly, who was absolutely amazing. Kelly went above and beyond for our family. She was so caring, patient, understanding and supportive throughout the whole process. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and we always felt that Mum was being looked after with the same love and respect that we would have given her ourselves.
Toni was also amazing on the day of the funeral. She made sure everything ran so smoothly and was there with such warmth, care and professionalism. We have had so many compliments from family and friends about what a beautiful service it was, and we truly couldn’t have wished for a more fitting farewell for Mum.
A huge thank you also to Sacha, the celebrant, who was absolutely fantastic. She captured Mum and her life so beautifully and made the service feel so personal and special. Mum would have absolutely loved her. Sacha helped tell Mum’s story in a way that felt so genuine, warm and full of love.
We will be forever grateful to Kelly, Toni, Sacha and the whole team for everything they did for us and for giving our beautiful Mum the farewell she deserved.

My brother and I chose Blackheath Funeral Service as the best option in the Blackheath area for our mother's funeral. We were most impressed by how easy the whole process was. The lady that helped us, Toni, was lovely, and we were also helped by Jackie who was very understanding and proactive. The whole day went very well - as well as a funeral could go - and we received many compliments from friends and relatives about how well organised everything was. Thanks also to the funeral director on the day, Matt, who led the cortege and procession into the crematorium.

Definitely, we would recomment Blackheath FS as providers of a well polished funeral service. Thankyou to everyone involved.

On behalf of the whole family we would like to thank you for the compassionate and professional way you looked after us following the death of our dad. We would especially like to thank Toni who made all the arrangements with great care and sensitivity, and Kelly who looked after us on the day of the funeral with great kindness and who found a wonderful way to include a family member with a learning disability in the service that meant so much to us all. Losing my husband was devastating and still is. However, Blackheath Funeral Services have been with me every step of the way from the moment they collected my late husband’s body right up to the end when he was cremated. Jill, Matthew, Carol and the team at Blackheath Funeral Service are exceptional. From start to finish, the care and professional support they offered to us was excellent; putting our hearts and minds at ease and allowing us to create a funeral for our Mum that was truly beautiful. They handled the many details involved with respect, understanding and compassion and clearly know how to help families navigate what is often a difficult and sad day.

Can't fault the service. At the office Jill was attentive and considerate and sensitively chased up on details, which was very useful.
Donna the Funeral Director looked good and did a great job; professional and mindful and one felt that one was in capable, experienced hands.
The drivers and bearers all adopted a very low-key, respectful attitude and generally calm demeanour, which was palpable.
The vehicles were super smooth and comfy.
